The Brit's?
Are you surprised they got 43 complaints about the show in this article? Ofcom received 43 complaints Britten (Thursday, February 21, 2008 04:52 PM) Media watchdog Ofcom received 43 complaints about Wednesday night's Brit Awards. Most viewers who contacted the body with live broadcast on ITV1's been disrupted by a bad language. Host Sharon Osbourne turned the air blue when comedian Vic Reeves took to the stage. Reeves seemed to give that he had forgotten to attend. Osbourne accused him of being drunk, and a series of shouted obscenities. Reeves later blamed his confusion on a faulty autocue. Most celebrities wasted no time getting stuck into the free alcohol in London's Earls Court. Comic Alan Carr admitted he was a little worse for the wear as he presented an award for Take That. Double winners Arctic Monkeys also seemed well-refreshed and organizers cut them mid-speech when they dragon at the British School. Source; Yahoo Homepage
No I'm not surprised, the whole thing was embarrassing from start to finish. Sharon was clearly had drunk too much, like most of the people who presented awards. The Arctic Monkeys were the real low point … so drunk they were apparently unable to speak. Amy Winehouse was obviously drugged up. Half of the awards went to the wrong people. The only thing that surprises me is that people can actually be difficult to complain to Ofcom.
