Intel motherboards?

Hi, Can any1 tell me if it's worth a Intel Original 965 RYCK to buy compared with the original Intel 945 GCNL. I am plans for an Intel Core2Duo LGA775 (Can not remember processor number, but approximately 2.2 GHz) with 1 GB of DDR2 RAM. Also 1. I have 300 W power and 20 pins. Must I purchase a new ?…… Yeah, I think 2. I learned that it has 4 MB L2 cache, but read on Wikipedia that is half off:-D. Is it true? We can without disruption of the warranty? I usually work some basic applications and learning system using VMware or similar tools for hosting virtual O / S. Can imagine it as worth into a few dollars more for the 965 … I am planning for a cost effective solution and so … Biggies dont plan to invest … Regards, How I will be able to live my processor to run 64 bit mode?

Easy, you have answered your own question. For a 64bit processor you have a motherboard that supports. If no one does this, look for a different combination. What your diet, there are cables available to convert 20 to 24 pins and vise versa.
